How we work

How we approach every learning platform

01

Learning outcomes first, features second

We run instructional design workshops before any UI work. The learner journey, content architecture, and success metrics are defined before a single wireframe is drawn.

02

Designed for completion, not just enrolment

Most learners don't finish. We design against that: progress visibility, push reminders, bite-sized content structures, and cohort accountability built in from the start.

03

Built to integrate, not to isolate

Your LMS needs to talk to your CRM, payment system, live session tools, and mobile apps. We build integration-first so data flows without manual exports.

04

Launched with adoption in mind

A platform nobody uses is a failed project. We include instructor onboarding, phased cohort migration, and a 60-day analytics review in every launch plan.

FAQ

Common questions about custom LMS development

Off-the-shelf platforms work until your pedagogy, branding, or business model outgrows them. Thinkific and Teachable are good for individual creators. Moodle and Canvas suit institutions willing to manage their own infrastructure. A custom LMS makes sense when you need multi-tenancy, deep CRM integration, a specific learner experience, or a revenue model the off-the-shelf tools don't support. We give you an honest recommendation in discovery, including whether a customised open-source platform is a better fit than building from scratch.

The cost depends on the scope: content types, learner scale, integration requirements, and whether you need mobile apps alongside the web platform. A focused LMS for a single organisation costs significantly less than a multi-tenant course marketplace with payment processing and analytics. We scope in detail and give you a fixed-price proposal after a discovery call.

A focused LMS with course delivery, assessments, and a basic learner dashboard typically runs 14 to 20 weeks to first cohort launch. A full course marketplace with payments, certifications, and mobile apps is usually 24 to 36 weeks. We run a phased launch so early cohorts go live before the full feature set is complete.

Yes to both. Zoom and other live session tools integrate directly into the course flow: scheduled sessions, auto-recordings pushed to the LMS, and attendance tracked against completion criteria. Certification is fully configurable: time-based, assessment-gated, or instructor-approved, with automated certificate generation and optional blockchain verification.

We integrate with Stripe by default, which handles multi-currency charging, regional tax calculation, and subscription billing. Enrolment flows, access revocation on failed payments, and revenue reporting are all built into the platform. For markets where Stripe isn't available, we support alternative payment gateways.

Yes. Most of our e-learning projects include a companion iOS and Android app built in React Native. The app covers offline content access, video downloads, push reminders, and real-time progress sync back to the LMS. We design the web and mobile experience in parallel so the learning journey is consistent across devices.

We've built learning platforms across healthcare, corporate training, higher education, and consumer EdTech. Our team understands instructional design as well as engineering, which means the platform is built around how learning actually works. And we stay involved after launch: completion rate improvements happen in the weeks after go-live, not on launch day.
